Let’s Caravan Together

Some of our favorite things to do in Bisbee

  • Queen Mine Tour

Outfitted in a hard hat, miner’s headlamp and a yellow slicker, thousands of Bisbee visitors descend into the Queen Mine Tour each year—heading underground and back in time. Tour guides, retired Phelps Dodge employees, lead the group 1,500 feet into the mine and recount mining days, techniques, dangers and drama.

  • Explore Historic Lowell

When you first turn onto Erie street it feels like you’ve entered a movie set out of the 1930’s. An old mining neighborhood that was eventually incorporated into Bisbee, all that remains of Lowell is a series of vintage buildings and cars that are maintained as part of the Lowell Americana Project, and well worth a visit.

  • Get Swole at Arizona Street Fitness

It certainly lays claim to the most colorful gym in Arizona, if not the entire country. Arizona Street Fitness is a great place to go workout while you’re in the area, and they take day drop-ins for only $5.

  • Explore Art Alley

Nestled between two buildings on Brewery Avenue, the Bisbee Art Alley is a wonderful testament to the deep culture of creative expression that has been present in Bisbee for decades.

  • Have a Drink at St. Elmo

The longest continually open bar in Arizona, since 1902 St. Elmo has been the wild and raucous sanctuary of the weird and the wild, serving as the focal point of both Brewery Gulch and the town of Bisbee itself. No visit to Bisbee is complete without a stop here. Don’t forget to go bowling for dildos.

  • Explore Coronado National Monument

While not located in Bisbee proper, Coronado National Monument commemorates the exploration of the Southwest by Europeans, and specifically conquistador Francisco Vásquez de Coronado in 1540. Located on the southern edge of the Huachaca mountains, the park is beautiful, and the view from Montezuma pass is a great place to take in a sunset.

  • Have a Cocktail at the Bisbee Grand

The Bisbee Grand’s name is well-deserved, in no small part due to the quality of their cocktails and extension tequila and beer selection. The kitchen is also great, as is the digital jukebox. If you’re lucky they’ll still have a room available for those nights when you go a little too hard.

  • Catch a Haunted Magic Show

Learn about the weird wild history of Bisbee, Arizona, “The Most Haunted Town in the America”, from magician and historian Kenny Bang Bang and his magic shows at the Bisbee Seance Room.

  • Have a drink at Arizona's Smallest Bar

1 bar, 4 stools: The Room 4 Bar at the Silver King Hotel is the smallest bar in Arizona, and a fantastic one at that and well worth the walk up to the second floor lobby of the hotel. On weekends there’s even live music.

  • Have a Feast at Screaming Banshee

Located in a renovated gas station and garage, Screaming Banshee Pizza has a wood-fired oven and serves up fantastic pastas, pizzas, and some of the finest calzones in the Southwest including gluten free and vegetarian options.

  • Eat All The Things at the High Desert Market

The High Desert Market is an absolute gem, with arguably the best sandwhiches in all of Arizona. Stock up on provisions for the weekend and your next road trip, or have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can’t go wrong.

Any questions?
