Queen Mine Tour
Outfitted in a hard hat, miner’s headlamp and a yellow slicker, thousands of Bisbee visitors descend into the Queen Mine Tour each year—heading underground and back in time. Tour guides, retired Phelps Dodge employees, lead the group 1,500 feet into the mine and recount mining days, techniques, dangers and drama.
-
Explore Historic Lowell
When you first turn onto Erie street it feels like you’ve entered a movie set out of the 1930’s. An old mining neighborhood that was eventually incorporated into Bisbee, all that remains of Lowell is a series of vintage buildings and cars that are maintained as part of the Lowell Americana Project, and well worth a visit.

-
Explore Coronado National Monument
While not located in Bisbee proper, Coronado National Monument commemorates the exploration of the Southwest by Europeans, and specifically conquistador Francisco Vásquez de Coronado in 1540. Located on the southern edge of the Huachaca mountains, the park is beautiful, and the view from Montezuma pass is a great place to take in a sunset.
-
Have a Cocktail at the Bisbee Grand
The Bisbee Grand’s name is well-deserved, in no small part due to the quality of their cocktails and extension tequila and beer selection. The kitchen is also great, as is the digital jukebox. If you’re lucky they’ll still have a room available for those nights when you go a little too hard.
-
